"D-Don’tcha ever….feel guilty…fer fit ya dee?" Wynne couldn’t look at the vampire, fear rooting her to the spot - her back to Carolynn. Her words were born off poorly surpressed confusion and anger, but her terror voiced them in a wavering tone, "Yer…kind…feed on others tae survive? ‘ow is ‘at fair? ‘ow is ‘at right?!"
"It’s not right, but it’s needed to keep me alive" Her voice was quiet, trying not to scare her friend "I can’t help it, I’d rather have to kill one person then go into a blood frenzy and kill anyone I come across. That’s the way it’s been for eighty years, I just got used to it after a while”
The farrier had indeed long abandoned the camp he’d called home. It had been the scene of many horrid events he’d forced behind him. The only way he’d found himself able to deal with what had happened was to abandon it and move on.
Currently, the blackette was returning from collecting a pile of stone for foundations. He planned to build a new forge, and an entire camp of his own. Brown eyes hardened at that thought, but he shook away the negative thoughts and pressed on through the trees.
She stood up, looking around the empty camp one last time, before darting back off into the forest. Hearing someone approaching, she slowed a little, ducking behind one of the many trees. To be honest, it’d been ages since she’d had a meal, the winter having a worse effect on her food rations than she’d thought.
'It wouldn't hurt to get a quick meal' the redhead mused 'well, not me at least' Listening intently as the being approached, she leapt out in an ambush, grabbing the person and slamming them to the ground, ready to bite. Catching sight of their face, she immediately froze up, staring in disbelief
The sudden movement caught him seconds too late, his mind only registering what was happening as something collided with him. His bag fell from his grip, rocks exploding and bouncing all around them as the pair hit the ground. The farrier felt the air knocked from his lungs, winded as his head bashed off the grass. His vision blackened out for a moment, his head thumping as he groaned.
Wilbur lay there for a moment, feel absolutely terrible. His torso was pinned in place by someone….sitting on him?! The realisation sent a chill of terror through his gut to his head, and brown eyes flew open despite the pain. It took him a moment before he could register whom he was seeing, “C-Carolynn?!!”
Fangs cracked back into place, the blunt teeth replacing the shredding razors as they retracted back into her gums “Wilbur?!” She didn’t seem to be able to move, starting in bewilderment, climbing off the farrier’s torso, running her fingers through her somewhat tangled hair “God, I almost ate you!” She stood back up, holding a somewhat shaky hand out to help him up
The farrier was a bit winded, so he took the hand silently as he got to his feet. He took in a few deep breaths to centre his attention once more. After a few moments, intense brown eyes landed on the red head. It was her, actually there. Before him. After he’d told her all that had happened. The man felt himself shiver with unease at the memory, but he took a step forward and pulled the vampire into a tight embrace.
"Aye, ya gotta watch ‘at appetite o’ yers" he said with a heartfelt chuckle.
She was still stunned, but soon enough hugged him back, the force almost crushingly powerful “Jesus christ, you just disappeared, nobody even knew where you went…we thought that you…I thought that..” She gave a small smile “..It’s good to have you back Wilbur”

Please tell me if you need something tagged. Please please please. I will without any hesitation.
